The Apostle Paul was a tent-maker by trade. As he traveled along his missionary journeys, he often resorted to his trade as a means of personal income in order not to burden the churches he visited. His Church - School of Ministry values that philosophy. While we do believe that a worker is worthy of his wages; which includes church staff...

"For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward."    - 1 Timothy 5:18

...we do not believe that our graduating students should be limited to minister with "whoever is hiring". There are many ministry opportunities worldwide with churches who cant afford to take on full-time, or even part-time, staff. Maybe you're called to start your own church? Our goal is to provide our students with the skills needed to find work, if necessary, wherever the Lord tells them to go. This way, the Holy Spirit has room to work as He sees fit.

Currently we offer two trade classes: Carpentry and Auto Mechanics. Upon completion of their chosen trade, students will be equipped to find work (or create their own), and feel comfortable, in either field.

Carpentry

Our carpentry classes are designed to teach students Shop Safety, building crafts and furniture, and general framing for houses and buildings. Throughout each class, students will have the option of selling their work and keeping the revenue generated.

Auto Mechanics

Students learn the basic principles of How and Why in Auto Mechanics; a thorough understanding of the design, construction, and operation of automotive units. How to diagnose and repair problems, general vehicle maintenance, and much more will be studied.
